On November 7, BEST is bringing together partners and community members for the Safe Streets Action Party: an opportunity to joyfully plug into this movement through art, writing, discussion, and action.

BEST is looking for a motivated individual to make a positive impact in our community by coordinating efforts to improve transportation in the greater Eugene-Springfield area.

On May 29, join former Congressman Earl Blumenauer for an informal discussion with public officials, transportation activists, and university scholars about transportation funding challenges and opportunities and what we can do together locally.

On Wednesday, May 21, 5–7 pm, at Gratitude Brewing, discuss electric mobility with featured guest Shane Rhodes, Transportation Options Program Manager for the City of Eugene.

If you liked Eugene Sunday Streets, you’ll love the Better Ways Block Party! On Sunday, May 18, 1 – 5 pm, come to the Farmers Market Pavilion and Plaza to learn about safe, healthy, affordable, and clean ways to travel.

These include better streets, better transit, better biking, better walking, better projects, better funding, and better events.
